    There are many different types of counseling available, but at Roberts Counseling, PLLC we specialize in client-centered counseling. This means that we focus on the needs of the client and tailor our counseling to fit those needs. We believe that everyone is different and therefore deserves their own unique counseling experience. Our team of counselors are all certified MSWs and LCSWs with years of experience in adult, couples, and child counseling. When you come to Roberts Counseling, PLLC, you can be confident that you are getting the best counseling possible from a team that cares deeply about you and your well-being.

  • At Roberts Counseling PLLC, our team brings together a diverse set of specialties and experiences to support individuals, couples, and families across all stages of life. Each of our clinicians is uniquely trained in areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, substance use, and identity-related concerns. While each therapist has their own focus—like working with adolescents, supporting LGBTQ+ clients, or treating co-occurring disorders—there are many areas where our expertise overlaps, including trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a compassionate, person-centered approach. This collaborative strength allows us to provide personalized care that meets you exactly where you are.

  • Yes, Roberts Counseling PLLC accepts several major insurance plans to help make therapy more accessible and affordable.

    Most of our providers are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and United Healthcare. Some therapists also accept UMR, Cigna, and select Medicare plans. For clients who are uninsured or prefer not to use insurance, self-pay options are available.

    If you’re unsure about your coverage, we’re happy to help you navigate your benefits and match you with a therapist who accepts your plan.

  • We have two offices located in the Sauk Valley Area.
